Nana Thebus works in handbuilt stoneware and mixed media sculptural forms.
Her stoneware collection uses subtle color and earthy texture to portray botanical themes and whimsical entities of nature.
The mixed media line combines clay with handmade papers, botanicals and found objects.
Diverse materials and techniques are used in her one of a kind work, resulting in a series of mythically inspired sculptural hanging figures as well as a changing array of fantastical insects, vessels and shrines.
Nana lives and works from her garden studio in Northwest Washington State. She is represented by galleries across the country.
